I’m pleased to announce the upcoming release of “”, a book aimed at helping entry-level job seekers find a great job.
I wrote the book to be high-level yet comprehensive enough to cover areas relevant to looking for your first job. Here are some highlights:
- Knowing yourself. The book talks about knowing yourself first and getting an idea of what you want to do before you actually start looking for a job. You’ll learn about resources to find out about yourself. You will also find out about useful sites and services to research specific employers and careers.
- Tips. There’s no rocket science here. The book will give you tips and common sense advice to improve your prospects of getting a great job.
- Resources. You’ll learn about sites to help you at each step of the way, including employer research, job search, salary negotiation and the acquisition of new skills.
- Short and to the point. Finding a good job is hard enough and the last thing you need is to read a novel on finding a job. The book is meant to be concise and modular, based on the “dummies” style of books. You can reference the section you’re looking for and dive into the topic where you need help. You don’t need to read the book cover to cover.
